28 Bloggers buckled up for a month-long blog hop! How does it work out? How will it be managed? Will it actually succeed? These were the questions I had in my mind when the blog hop was about to commence at the start of this month!
We were back to Mumbai once again and were only left with approximately 2 days to explore. As we reached Mumbai by noon, we had pretty much half a day left to our-selves on that day...So, to start with...
As the train departed I was left with mixed feelings...felt happy that we had wonderful time at Ahmedabad and my initial blues about the city after a bad start we had on our 1st day just vanished and suddenly I was feeling sad at the same time that it was time to bid farewell to my journey there...!
It was our day 2 (26th Nov, 2016) in Ahmedabad and we both were excited about what's in store for us that day. We engaged an auto until 4 in the evening for Rs. 200 and the autowala agreed on taking us....

Our first day in Ahmedabad started off on a bad note….Half of the day turning into a fiasco. Still with a wavering hope left, we went with the flow. We headed towards “Adalaj Step well”, also called as “Adalaj Ni Vav” in Gujarati. “Step well” or “Stair Well” is called “Vav” and it is situated in the village called “Adalaj”, so the name “Adalaj Ni Vav”.

"Gateway of India" is one of the 5 magnificent gateways/doorways in India. It has always been in my must visit list. After spending early hours of that morning in covering Chowpatty beach and Haji-Ali-Dargah, next in list was Gateway of India.
Serene views of Dargah and a soulful voice rendering Gazals made my visit to Haji-Ali-Dargah even more memorable!
